Five stars for Crossfire

A few days ago I mentioned the return of my favourite fanfic webseries, after what was three years of silence.

It's not every day I get excited about a fanfic, but will unashamably declare that the sixth installment of the Atlantis DSV series made me drop everything and just read it. The series is set some ten years after the last episodes of seaQuest 2032, where the United Earth Oceans Organisation is at war with the Macronesian Alliance. The story I just read, CROSSFIRE, is ties a lot of stuff that transpired in the last story, bringing the UEO-Mac war to another climex as our heros race against the clock before their government endeavours to end the war by nuclear strike. Of course, there is more.

CROSSFIRE also has a mini-story arc that is expertly woven in, and showing us Commander Ryan Callaghan's history (that only had been hinted in throughout the first five books) and the origins of another
faction that had emerged in South Africa.

The entire series is written in the same league as Tom Clancy, Stephen Coonts and Michael Wallace in addition to a few others.

Look folks, I'm not going to spoil it by giving you a detailed synopsis of transpired in CROSSFIRE and the five previous episodes. I will encourage you to go look for yourselves.
